I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’ve been a relationship builder for as long as I can remember. My 3rd grade teacher may not have appreciated that I was always out of my seat socializing, but I knew that one day my interest in learning about people would come in handy.  

This interest led me to a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. In my early work experience, I interned at Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio teaching Sexual Health Education in area schools.

After dabbling in non-profit work, I went on to earn a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. I did my clinical training and early years of licensure at an agency in metro Columbus, Ohio before migrating south and joining a group therapy practice in Buckhead.

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to venture off and focus on my training as a trauma specialist in order to better support my community.

I’ve since become an EMDR Certified Therapist, completed extensive training on Attachment Related Trauma, Complex PTSD, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, and walked my own personal therapy journey.

Now it is my privilege to walk along side you in yours!
